The Valley Park Community Centre is run by the Valley Park Community Association (VPCA) which is a registered charity. This is a charity which exists to promote the interests of the inhabitants of the local area. Its aim is to improve the quality of life by bringing together residents, the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to ensure that educational, welfare and leisure facilities are available to all.
The VPCA is run by a committee of members and is chaired by Mrs Val Boden. The committee meet on a bi-monthly basis and deal with the day-to-day running of the community centre along with the ongoing upkeep of the building.
The community centre is available for private hire for clubs, social events and childrens birthday parties. The Main Hall can accommodate up to 80 people, Room 1 can accommodate up to 30 people and Room 2 can accommodate up to 20 people. A list of the Hire Charges can be found here.
